Well, before we start with the revision test, let us take a quick recap of  the topic.

At the end of the recap, you will be able to

• identify a correct sentence.
• recall the four kinds of sentences
• identify the correct punctuation marks required in a sentence
• apply your understanding to answer the questions asked in the test

   A   SENTENCE  is  a group of words  that express  a complete idea and has a  subject  and  a  verb.  It has a full stop , a question mark or an exclamation mark at the end.

*   I need  some stationery.                *  The prizes were given in school.

                                         
*  July and August are months of heavy rain.    

Did you notice that

: the above group of words are placed in their proper order to make complete sense? 

: each sentence begins with a capital letter and has a full stop at the end.

Needless to say, all  the above are examples of sentences!
