L-1 Why Evergreen Trees Never Lose Their Leaves (Contd.)

Hello Everyone!

Hope you all have read the previous blog and have done the work given. 

Let's continue with our story. 

The bird was heartbroken and lonely, but suddenly heard someone calling him...






The bird was offered food, shelter and warmth by Pine, Spruce and Juniper trees. 


The frost king rewarded Pine, Spruce and Juniper trees by making them Evergreen Trees because of their kindness towards the little bird.


So, what do we learn from the story?
It is about selfless love and kindness. We need to help others and show kindness without any expectation. This way we create a circle and that kindness comes back to us. It is always what we give is what we get.

This is a short story written by 'Florence Holbrook' who was a teacher in Chicago schools. She rewrote folk tales that she collected from different cultures.
